The Polish pilots are not blame according to nearly half of Poles. Nearly 40% of respondents believe the tragedy was caused by a terrorist attack according to a study conducted by TNS Polska for "wSieci" weekly.

Nearly 40% of Poles believe that a terrorist attack could well have been the cause for the crash of the Tu154M governmental plane with President Lech Kaczynski according to a recent survey.

For over five years, representatives of the ruling coalition and the mainstream media claim that everything has been answered in regards to the Smolensk plane crash, ruling out the possibility of an assassination. Anybody who dared to question the official governmental investigation line was mocked and ridiculed. However, it turns out that operations aimed at discrediting many of those persistently presenting alternative versions and independent research have not been successful. Too many inconsistencies and ambiguities in the governmental version have left many in doubt to the real causes of events on April 10th.

These opinion poll results are not only due to the consistent and massive amount of work and research of independent scientists and academics, the Independent Parliamentary team responsible for investigating the causes of the Smolensk plane crash under Antoni Macierewicz but also due to many disclosed facts, scandals and investigative negligence. Many bleive the Poland and Russia have been involved in a massive covering up scandal.

TNS Polska asked: "Do you agree with the statement that the Smolensk place crash could have been caused by an assassination?" - 39% agreed with the statement, whilst 48% did not. 13% did not have an opinion.

Furthermore, most of the respondents blame Smolensk air traffic controllers for the disaster. Who is to blame? According to 51% pilots are not to blame; 28% believe that the pilots are to blame. 56% blame the Russian airport staff; 26% consider the airport staff innocent.
