Family members of the Smolensk crash victims have addressed an open letter of appeal to Chancellors of Polish and foreign universities and higher education institutions in the EU, the USA and Canada, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Members of Parliament and Senators of the Republic of Poland. >>

Prof. Jorgensen initially considered the official version presented by the Russian Interstate Aviation Committee and the Polish governmental team to be the most probable course of events. However, after months of research and calculations, he realised that the two governmental committees presented a misleading picture and set of circumstances into the causes and course of events of the disaster.>>
Military investigators on June 27th, 2013, claimed that previously detected TNT particles by devices discovered on the wreckage of the plane in Smolensk were not after analysis of an explosive material origne. However, military prosecutors admitted that an explosion could not be ruled out at this stage.
